Q. Why is fiber so important?
 
A. Fiber is essential for intestinal health. Fiber keeps the digestive tract from getting clogged up with mucus, toxins and metabolic waste. It keeps the colon clean and waste matter moving. Fiber feeds and maintains a healthy intestinal flora.

Q. How does COLON CLEANSE® clean the colon?
 
A. Colon Cleanse is made of 100% psyllium husk. Psyllium helps to absorb toxins in the colon by creating a spongy, gelatinous mass in the bowels. By swelling and absorbing fluids, it breaks down and moves waste matter stuck in the folds and crevices of the colon. A clean colon inhibits bacteria from surviving on human waste. Psyllium husk soothes the lining of the bowel and leaves a thin slippery film along the inner lining of the colon, which makes it easier for waste generated later to move along smoothly.

Q. What is the soluble fiber in COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. The husk is composed mostly of a soluble fiber called hemicellulose. The soluble fiber adds bulk to the stomach and absorbs fluids to form a gel-like substance that stimulates the rhythmic muscular contractions in the colon responsible for the evacuation process.

Q. Does the soluble fiber in COLON CLEANSE® lower cholesterol?
 
A. Soluble fiber from foods such as psyllium husk as a part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease. Cholesterol attaches itself to fiber and is carried out of the body with solid waste matter. A serving of Colon Cleanse supplies 7 grams of the soluble fiber necessary per day to have this effect. Coronary heart disease has been linked to elevated blood cholesterol levels. Recent scientific research has revealed the important role psyllium plays in the diet to reduce "Bad" cholesterol or LDL (Low Density Lipoproteins), while having no significant effect on the HDL (High-Density Lipoproteins) or good cholesterol. Studies from three independent universities: University of Kentucky, George Washington University and the University of Massachusetts, presented some dramatic results. Low fat diet that included psyllium had a greater cholesterol lowering effect than low fat diets without psyllium.

Q. Can COLON CLEANSE® be taken if pregnant or breast feeding?
 
A. Psyllium should be mixed with at least 8 ounces of water, juice or your favorite beverage. Please drink quickly because of the immediate thickening action. Eight to ten glasses of water throughout the day is recommended the reason is water naturally helps your system flush out the toxins and waste that build up throughout the day. Eating this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have trouble swallowing.

Q. Can I take medication with COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. There are no known contraindications. However, there is some speculation about pills possibly binding to the psyllium preventing them from breaking down properly. It is good idea to take your medication at least one hour before or after consuming Colon Cleanse. Check with your pharmacist or physician about the possible interactions with psyllium.

Q. How much COLON CLEANSE® can be taken daily?
 
A. Depending on the individual, as little as one teaspoon a day can promote regularity. One tablespoon up to three times daily is the maximum dose. However, results may not take place for three or more days. Psyllium is an excellent source of fiber, puts no strain on nerve reflexes, does not damage bowel tone and is safe for long-term use.

Q. Is the psyllium in COLON CLEANSE® a fiber from wheat grain?
 
A. Psyllium is a fiber grain; however, it is not related to wheat. Psyllium is a natural bulking agent that yields 60 to 70% soluble fiber; eight times that of oat bran. Psyllium expands 50 to 60 times in the stomach to provide this bulk or "roughage". Fiber is essential for intestinal health. Fiber keeps the digestive tract from getting clogged up with mucus, toxins and metabolic waste. It keeps the colon clean and waste matter moving. Fiber feeds and maintains a healthy intestinal flora.

Q. Can I take COLON CLEANSE® on an empty stomach?
 
A. Since Colon Cleanse is a soluble fiber, you may take it any time you wish even on an empty stomach.

Q. Do I take COLON CLEANSE® with food?
 
A. You may take the Colon Cleanse anytime you wish, even on an empty stomach. Our recommendation is that you take the Colon Cleanse at least one hour before or after meals. How Colon Cleanse works is it forms a gel-like substance in your stomach which absorbs all the waste in your system as it passes though your small intestines and colon and then is finally eliminated.

Q. Is there an appropriate diet for COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. Common sense about eating healthy foods is always recommended. Please drink plenty of fluids and continue your normal healthy diet.

Q. Do I have to wait to eat if I just took COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. No, you do not have to wait. Because Colon Cleanse is a soluble fiber and swells up in your stomach it has the effect of making you feel less hungry if taken about an hour before meals. So unless you are trying to eat less, take it after meals.

Q. Will I get diarrhea from COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. No. Colon Cleanse is not likely to result in diarrhea. In fact, psyllium husk is known to help in cases of diarrhea by absorbing excess intestinal fluids and providing bulk to the stool.

Q. How long will it take before COLON CLEANSE® begins working?
 
A. It is very difficult to specify a time period in which Colon Cleanse begins working. Most people will see results within 24 to 72 hours, as long as directions were followed. It may take longer especially for first time users as their systems are not used to the amount of fiber in the Colon Cleanse.

Q. Should I stop taking Super COLON CLEANSE® and COLON CLEANSE® Regular?
 
A. If you are enjoying our other products we suggest that you sample Max Line and note changes you may feel that you like or dislike then customize your cleansing regimen.

Q. What are the common side effects of COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. Some of the side effects of Colon Cleanse are gas and bloating. These usually occur with first time users because their systems may not be used to the amount of fiber in the Colon Cleanse. In this situation we recommend that you cut the dosage in half and slowly increase to the recommended dosage over a period of a few weeks.

Q. How long can I take COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. For best results you can take Psyllium every day. Psyllium provides safe, gentle and effective cleansing.

Q. Does COLON CLEANSE® cause allergic reactions?
 
A. Allergic reactions can never be ruled out when introducing anything new into the body. However, Psyllium should not be compared to insoluble fiber such as wheat bran, where irritation and allergic reactions are often present. Some individuals may feel minor discomfort with gas or bloating the first few days. In this case, reduce your dose to half and increase gradually to the suggested use over a period of about 2 weeks.

Q. How much water should be taken with COLON CLEANSE®?
 
A. Psyllium should be mixed with at least 8 ounces of water, juice or your favorite beverage and swallowed quickly, because of the immediate thickening action. 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day are recommended. Eating this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing.

Q. What else can I do if I don’t want to take any COLON CLEANSE® product?
 
A. Drink plenty of water, and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, which naturally contain fiber, antioxidants and some enzymes (such as papain from papaya). In addition, sometimes stress causes digestive insufficiency, so learning how to manage stress levels will greatly help prevent digestive disturbances. Eat slowly; don’t cram your mouth with food, don’t gulp down your food. Chewing slowly releases specific enzymes in saliva that start to break down the food. Finally, eat only until you are satisfied; don’t eat until you are “full,” which stresses the bloated stomach to work overtime in processing its load.

Q. Are your capsules enteric coated?
 
A. No. Enteric coating has been reference as being a poor and unproven method of capsule protection for probiotics and enzymes.

Q. Are your product capsules made from vegetable or animals?
 
A. All of our products which use capsules are manufactured using bovine based, cattle, calf and/or cows, unless otherwise stated on the bottle.

Q. Can Children take Digesti Cleanse?
 
A. No. Digisti Cleanse is only recommended for those who are 13 and older.

Q. Can I use Super Fiber Blend with other health plus products?
 
A. Yes. We specially formulate our products to work with each other or separate.

Q. Can children take Ultra Fiber Biotic?
 
A. Children may use ultra fiber biotic but 1/3 of the adult dose. Since the product is produced in capsules you may split the capsule for the desired amount.

Q. Can kids take Super Fiber Blend?
 
A. Children 6-12 years of age may take Super Fiber Blend but only half (1/2) of the recommended dose of adults. Half a teaspoon (3.5 g).

Q. Can pregnant women take probiotics?
 
Yes. Ultra Fiber Biotic will assist in mild constipation many pregnant women suffer from.

Q. Do the enzymes survive stomach acid?
 
A. Yes, however it must be taken with food to do so.

Q. Does Ultra Fiber Biotic need to be refrigerated?
 
A. No. The probiotics are freeze dried therefore preserving the cultures, however the product is sensitive to high temperatures.

Q. Does my body decrease enzyme production as I age?
 
A. Yes. Age is a large factor why so many older individuals suffer from indigestion oppose to younger individuals. Your body begins to decrease enzyme production creating digestive stress which leads to heart burn, poor nutrient absorption, and indigestion.

Q. How many probiotic cfu’s (colony forming unit) are in the super fiber blend?
 
A. .6 billion cfu per serving during the time of manufacture; however this is not accounting the Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) that increases the number of the cfu in the intestine.

Q. If I am taking a protein supplement, should I use an enzyme supplement?
 
A. Yes. The use of an enzyme supplement will improve the digestion of a protein supplement speeding the process of desired results, especially in body building.
